CELEBRATING 50 YEARS

THE M8 RENFREW BYPASS

Our M8 Renfrew Bypass page has been extensively updated to include over 100 exclusive construction photos & key project dates!

The photos have been supplied by Mr Barrie Old, a retired civil engineer who worked on the project from 1965 to 1967. Barrie worked for Peter Lind on Stage 1 of the project. It opened to traffic in March 1968.
